Old Jeep

My brother bought that old CJ5? that was down the road from my house. $200, put a battery in it and drove it home. :twisted:
How does it ID this rig? Donny took a look at it. My brother said the kid he bought it from told him it was a '64.

Start looking on the frame for a #?  Dont they have plack things in some of the glove box doors too?  Karl was it that od green looking thing on the hill???    Bull.

my vin numbuer is stamped on the frame next the gas tank  and i have a 77 cj 7

6 cyl., gas tank under rear floor. Filler on right rear.

Karl, it's a 74.  Driver side dash.  I think September '74.  Yellow tag.  Don't know if that's the original date.
