Opinions on a Teraflex lift???

I'm currently shopping for a 2 to 3 inch lift....
right now I've narrowed it down to the Teraflex company with
these three options on the table...

"TeraFlex 3" [TER-3ST](with front/rear adj. lower control arms,quick discos and steering box plate)A Lil Pricey
TeraFlex 3T 3" Basic Lift [TER-3T] Probably going to be this one...cost verses what you get
TeraFlex 2T 2" Standard [TER-2T] not much sense using this one unless I can get it real cheap....
also looking at a set of matching Doetsch Techs The DT3000 for the 3" lifts

Any comments, thoughts, idle rambling's ???? Anyone know any great deals....

the 3T will work, but you will want control arms down the road...


I have the 3t on my Rubi, and I only got it because it comes with very soft riding springs.  (a little to soft for most people)

Being you dont get control arms...  You "may" need to drop the t-case, I did a motor mount lift.  Also, being you don't fix the front caster by having adj control arms, you will get a bit of touchy steering...  (not bad, but feels different)

An adjustable front track bar is a good idea, if not you have to drill... (which sucks)

I've got the 4 inch Tera on my Rubi.  This is the second season and I don't have any complaints so far.  I wouldn't bother with the 3 inch.  Get the 4 inch with the lower control arms.  If you can afford the uppers, do it.  I just have the lowers on my rig so far.  Used the 1 inch drop pucks with the kit, no vibes.  Eventually will get upper control arms and a CV drive shaft and bring up the skid, maybe a tummy tuck skid if I get some $$$$. :mrgreen:

You can still get this kit at Samsoffroad.com for $1009 with Ranch 5000 shocks!  I paid $1200 for my kit. :swear_mad:

Sorry but for 1009, you can get a complete 4.5 inch RE kit, upper arms, lower arms, adjustable front track bar, brake lines, blah blah blah for 980. add another 120 for doestechs and you are good to go for 1100.
