Well, I now can say that I know how to change a Dana 35 axle shaft. In fact, I now can say that I have two Dana 35 axle shaft changes under my belt.
The Damage:
2 broken D35 axle shafts
1 broken D44 front axle shaft
2 broken D44 u-joints
1 bent driveshaft
5 blown tire beads
Me? I broke the 2nd D35 shaft inching my way over a rock that I was on while the front tires were off the ground. I also blew a bead on the the very first trail on Saturday. We broke all 3 axles on the first day and never really did any wheeling.
