Pinion seals the same on a TJ ?

I got some new pinion seals to replace my leaky ones
The rear on this TJ is supposed be a Dana 44 and the front is supposed to be a Dana 30 and have the same seals but the one that's in the rear looks different than what I have on hand
The front axle looks like the new one I have

Is the one that's in there now (pictures below)the correct one and I have the wrong seal or is the one that's in there now some aftermarket one and will the factory seal that I have work correctly if I install it ?

Some manufacturers have different style seals. Some also offer a sort of dust shield that surrounds the pinion. I know the jk Dana 44 has 2 different style pinion seals. I personally have not run into an issue with the tj Dana 44. They run the same seal as ford and Chevy dana 44 housings. I would say if the yoke fits in the seal and the housing bore dia is the same as the seal pound it in and see what happens

Got it changed
New Factory fit fine
Looks like the old one was 2 pieces the outer part might of been some type of shield but it wasn't sealed to the yoke shaft so there was some crap sitting on the inside of it once I got it out so I'm really not sure what it was for.
Hopefully no more leakage
