How do I win this battle without doing the obvious...caulking the crap out of it or keeping it out of the rain (not gonna happin)? It's going to fry my radio if I don't do something!!!!!!!!!!

My leak in my CJ was the rubber around the windshield. Cauked it...no more leak.

Have to check tomorrow, it's raining out \:D/ . I think this problem is two parts, plugged drain and missing or junky gasket. Water is coming through the vents and from somewhere around the cowl vent. Windshield gasket looks good and so does the weather stripping. Mess with it later, thanks!

A River Runs Through It...Some guys may think of the movie with the cool fishing scenes, the lady's may think of that movie with Brad Pitt. I am thinking of the scene in my Jeep right before it froze!!! Rubber all looks good, vent gasket appears to serve little purpose...unless its coming in through the holes for the screws, hmmmmm. Were does the cowl vent drain dump? Vent doesn't appear plugged, maybe diconncted somewhere though. Don't want to have to do any underdash surgery, eletrical crap sucks.

Drain's fine. Stero...cooked. I think when it rains hard water gets in the vent opening and leaks through the paper flex duct which is full of holes and leaks onto the stero, the rest of the water runs right throught the vent system. What a pisser.
