rear swing away tire carrier

Rear swing away tire carrier....i want to fabricate one to my rear bumper so i can fit my 33 spare

I have the Smittybuilt SRC rear tube bumper with the 2" hitch on it

I wanted to weld a plate across the top of the bumper and then build the swing on top of that....will it work?

not sure, that is alot of weight for a tube...


my Warn is rated for a 36" tire... and I have had a 35" for 2 years now...  and even that is bending away from the Jeep...


When I do it again, I will go Detour or spend some $$$ for the Jeeperman

I almost went the Jeeperman setup - before I went to my 1st NE Jeep M&G :wink:
Don't get me wrong - the Jeeperman set-up is great!  but for $600+ its beter to go local/Detours
