Performance:
Let’s start with the main goal, STOPPING!
It’s simply amazing now. What a difference. It will lock up the 37’s.
What’s included:
2 new upgraded knuckles
BMB pads
2 rotors
Left and Right Calipers
2 caliper saddles & hardware
2 centering rings for the rotors
Master Cylinder
Detailed instructions
I added:
New Brake hoses
Brake Fluid
Install:
It was really just a bolt on affair. You are just replacing all of the stock parts with the BMB parts. The differences are that you have to make sure the bleeder screws are on the high side, you can’t forget the rotor centering rings (yes I forgot it on the second side). Also, breaking in or bedding the brake pads.
The process for bedding the pads:
5-7 back to back 40 mph to rolling (don’t stop)
Drive 10-15 min without using the brakes. If needing to stop, use the parking brake to hold the Jeep
Repeat 1&2
Let cool over night
Repeat 1&2
Overall:
It was a good chunk of change, but worth it for the braking performance I have now.
Negatives: Price is high, I'm locked into 17" rims
