as of right now the 4.0 still has a life span untill the end of the 05 model year in only the wrangler. The six speed is a weak tranny from what i have heard and probably will not stand up to much abuse.

Let alone that thing is UGLY.

the 6 speed, can only hold up to like 245ft-lbs of torque. it has a 5 to 1 first gear though.

NV4500 is the way the should go.

I'm with Zach. I thought I was the only one that didn't like it. 6spd sounds cool but I think all the unlimiteds look ugly. Looks like someone put it together in their backyard. But to each his own I guess.

Concur. I never did like LWB jeeps. But hey, some people do. To each his own I suppose. Rumors of IFS are flying on ROF now too in 06. Who knows? We should all buy another TJ before they are gone for history's sake tho
