Yeah I’ll need to do some decorating when this is all done. Did a bunch of prep this weekend when I wasn't working on the spare bathroom in the house. We have been patching the drywall, sanding, and as of yesterday finally painting in there.
Anyway, replaced the rotted door frame. Termite damage from before I owned the house. Termites have long been killed and we have traps around the house and garage but the damage was never fixed. Studs and insulation are fixed and plastic is up. New door frame is built and installed. Pretty much ready for OSB and then paint.
Also I was considering putting the stove I. The corner but I think I still want to pull the window and put it dead center of the back wall. It’s a little more work and will cost more for the chimney but I think it will be worth it for better heat.
Finished the last of the painting today. It’s actually already dry. It was up over 75 in the garage with the little heater going. It works much better now that I have real walls.
Anyway, here we are. Gotta build a new shelf for the back wall. Otherwise I am just about ready to start working on cars again.
Well, last update for a while. Garage is done other than the ceiling, that will be in the fall. Garage is together, clean, and as of today I started using it again.
I’m loving having the brighter lights. I’m sure it will make a big difference Rey. And yes, it’s so nice to have the Jeep back in there. I’m still learning the new locations of all my tools. I’ll get it figured out after some time though.
Not to be "THAT" guy . Please check your town ordnance for solid burning appliance in your garage . Before you go through the install. Just sayin FjR68
