shocks

Just bought a set of skyjacker hydro 7000 shocks for my 85 cj7. this is my first experience with hydro shocks. right out of the box they seem too easy to push/pull and I can hear all sorts of what sounds like air and fluid sloshing around inside.

Is this normal, or did I just buy the wrong shocks.

mostly drive it around town and some light trail driving. no crawling, at least not yet.

I was replacing a set of black diamond shocks that came with the three inch lift and the same shocks were back ordered. So, I figured what the heck I'll give the skyjackers a try.
