Should I trade tires??

I have a chance to trade my bfg muds, for a set of swamper ssr's. Comparable tread wear. Anyone ever use ssr's? Are they worth the trade? Anyone????? Bull.

I hear they have thin sidewalls. My friend was ramping a junk car in his neighbor's back yard and cut the sidewall open on a little piece of metal. It was a brand new 38" ssr, now it's going to be a brand new 38" ssr tire swing for his kid. :?

SSR's will also be heavier than your BFG's which will add stress and strain to your axles.

Hey Bull, I have trashed three sidewalls and got one bubble in my 37" ssr's in the last three months. The sidewalls suck!!!!!! Rich

Not if I go with those. They only come as large as 33".

33-12.5-15 is the largest size for the Destination M/T's
If they came in 36's, I would have ordered a set already.
Cjron knows the NE rep for Firestone and asked if a larger tire size would be available. Doesn't look good.
