sound bar

does anyone in the entire world know what sixe speakers go in the YJ sound bar??????????? :swear_mad:

they are NOT 5 1/4", i already bought those and they were too big..... :swear_mad:
 
i didnt know if i could cut it....

what would i use?? i cut off wheel?
 
You can cut anything....

I used a dremel with a cut off wheel to widen mine in my TJ.
 
sounds like a plan...i will try and get that donee after i get out today

the OEM YJ sound bar uses little 4 inch speakers.  However most everyone switches to a 5 1/4.

You just have to pull the vinyl cover off and cut a little off around.  Dremel, or metal sheers... being the OEM YJ sound bar was made of metal, not plastic like the TJ  :rotflmao:

than why is the sound bar in my tj metal  :mad02:
 
Actually from an acoustic stand point, I'd prefer a
plastic housing.... Ghiradelli you might try a few different
5-1/4 speakers... I had a set of Pioneers and a set
of Polk's, The Pioneers didn't fit very well but the Polk's
went in with very minor cutting...and I went from a 5-1/4 to
6" Polks....Also remember to use some type of acoustic baffling
behind the speakers....
