Just wondering if I ran out of gas in the Jeep would it be OK to use gas that I had pre-mixed for my chainsaw with a 40:1 ratio of 2 cycle oil?

dont do it, you will then have oil in your fuel lines and on your pistons.

I bet there wouldn't be many mosquitos around you while you were driving if you did

Grab the wrong gas tank when you went to put more gas in??

Yea it would probably put on a pretty good smoke show for a while

No but I did run out of gas the other day  and was just wondering if the 2-cycle oil would gum it up or what...I didn't have it with me anyways so it's just a hypothetical question :?

I've done it more than once with carb engines. Don't know what it would do to FI. I've also burned 2 cycle mixed with colman fuel out in the boondocks of Lake Chesuncook. I think the nearest gas was over 5o miles away.

it would be fine. not the greatest thing for the cat though

I ran 2 stroke from my neighbor's boat in all last summer. Never had a problem, had to change my plugs by the end of the summer though. But like Ron said...I did end up with a partially plugged cat.

It all depends on what he did to the cat...... A large hammer and a piece of pipe work wonders on cats. Clears them right up.......
