Determination, Perseverance, Endurance, or Down-Right Stubbornness!

Whatever it takes to finish the task at hand.

Now I'm off. I have a new task in hand.......... a bottle of Highland Single Malt and I'm "Determined" to finish it before the Sun comes up!

I'm slowly but surely winning the war on chipmunks at the house. :smt071
My XJ squeaks and creaks all the time. I gave up trying to chase them all down for now. I'm going to weld in mount gussets like Detour did on his, and I'm going to try some industrial teflon sheeting to go between the bushings and mounts. Sorta like a thrust washer.
Will it work? who knows. :smt102

"industrial teflon sheeting"
Sounds like a good thing to keep in stock.

Where does one find that stuff? Is it a base layer of something else and a teflon coating or is it a burly slice of just teflon? :smt017

I'm going to check in with Industrial Safety Supply in West Hartford.
They have a specialty plastics division and fab shop. They have a section in the store where they sell scraps left over from custom jobs.
The guys there are quite knowledgable in finding the right material for the job. I'll post info up when I get the plastic and try it out.

Good. I have about 20 gallons of waste oil sitting around. I'll bring it to your place.
