I need some sort of spring compressor to remove and replace the springs on a TJ right?

Any suggestions?

Do they just have then at autozone?

don't need one, just disconnect the sway bar, and shocks....  depending one the amount of coil lift size, you may need to disco the track bar...

that the front... the rear, just unbolt the sway, and bottom bolt of the shock....

then step on it to push the axle down, pull out the spring...

Pete, call if you want to do it real quick... takes about 1/2 hour

Auto Zone!  FREE RENTAL.

I used the spring compressor for the front springs on my 4inch lift on my TJ.  It was the 2 piece type used for struts.  worked well.

Bonzai Sticks!!!  Dangerous!!  Agree with Nomad, disco the track bar and shocks and  go from there.  if you need a little more room for the driver's side, drop the front of the front driveshaft.  Make sure you disco the end links first.  PITA if you don't!! :disagree: :grinyes: :disagree: :grinyes:

Just hook some chains up around your springs and hook the other end to a telephone pole.  Back up until they pop out.

But really

When you do the drop, pull the calipers off and everything will drop even further.

Call me crazy!  I didn't need them to remove the stock springs, but I needed them to put in my 4 inch springs.  Just take your time and be carefull.
