Springs A Movin?

My 03 Rubicon has a 4 inch Tera lift. After this past weekend once I started cleaning things up a bit, I found my left side coil spring had shifted off of the spring pirch on the axle. I dropped the axle on that side and shifted it back to the proper place. On the instructions I remember that there was supposed to be some kind of retainer on the axle. I kind of questioned this since I didn't have them. Now I know why i need them.

Does anyone have any suggestions how I can keep this from happening again. :?

They just were not there. :roll:

Who knows, maybe the axles were put on on friday at 4:59pm :shock:

Went to dealer today. Found out that Jeep stopped using these clips after 2001 :shock:

If anyone has this problem it costs 13 bucks for two clips and two bolts.

ya i was gonna say i didnt think the rubi came with those clips stock, but easily attained i found out

I heard they actually stopped putting them on in 98'

but then again, all the XJ's have them, so just do a quick trip to the mall.... :lol:
