Stripped door hinge torx bolt

I just checked min - Regular SAE 5/16"-18 bolts.  Go  to the hardware store and pick some up.  If they don't have the tapered head, just go with hex head for now

Aren't the windshield cowl torx bolts a bigger diameter than the door hinge bolts, the listing doesn't say the size of the bolts, they definitely look longer than the hinge bolts which are pretty short

Have you used the ones in the listing on a door hinge on a TJ ?

I miss read your post - the 5/16 -18 were from my windshield hinge - I'll check the door hinges tomorrow, but I suspect they are the same

As far as I know they are all the same 5/16.

So I checked and maybe the half doors are a different size but they are Metric M8 X 1.25

They are the same size as my JK windshield cowl bolts but the JK has a pan head on it and not the tapered one of the door. I'll go to the nutty company tomorrow and see if they have something similar, maybe it will have to be allen head instead of torx.

It will be Allen Head. They don't carry torx. At least not the times I've gone there.
