I'm getting and SYE and drive shaft next week my question is when installing this would that be a good time to install a locker too?

no real need to install the locker  when you do the ds/sye    but a locker is always a nice thing

A wrenchfest is being setup as we speak.  There is a post forthcoming.  Will be posted by this weekend.  Gimme a call for any specifics.

cool

A locker and a sye don't have a lot in common installation wise.  They could easily be handled at different times without much duplication of effort.  The four strap bolts are the only work in common so either way is not much problem.

100%

put in the SYE, and shaft...  locker down the road... you wont be doing anything in the rear diff so thier really dont relate...

yeah looks like i'll be doing it on different days. i was hope then where related but oh well know i have a way to tell kim i need two days to work on the jeep :grinyes:

thanks for the help everyone

What kind of Locker?  Lunch boxes, ie., PowerTrax and Detroit E-Z, don't take too long.  The nice thing is that the gears are not disturbed so there's no need to set pinion deapth and preload.  All others are best left to the pro's like Pete.

thanks, i figured i would have pete do my 4.88 when i get more$
