Eric from Offroad Elements is gauging interest on chromoly rear axle shaft group buy. He'd be able to get a set for a 44 down to $375 (30 spline) to $395 (Rubi) shipped (everything pressed and ready to install). Let me know if you need a set for a different axle. If anyone is interested I'll pass it on and if it goes through I'll post a link.

I'd be interested in at least getting a price for a 29 spline Chrysler 8.25 for a 2000 XJ if they make them. The stock shafts are pretty beefy but if they are cheap enough it would be good insurance.

If you were to get chromoly shafts, I would be interested in your old modified shafts that accept the full circle snap rings, unless you decided to keep them as spares.

8.25 is $159 for 97-01, $219 for 91-96... Shipped both sides, just need bearings/seals

That's probably 35 rear. Sorry don't know my TJs as well as I should and totally missed that. Stand by to stand by.

You can count me in for one set of late model rear 8.25 shafts. I'm about to regear that axle so I might as well change the shafts out while I am in there.
