TEN Factory chromoly axle group buy

Just a word on stronger axle shafts , worth mentioning .  Actually its a question .  If you break an axle (D-30) U-joint , you may take out the ears also . If you make the axle shaft so very strong it wont break first , Take a guess whats next in line ?????????????????  Just saying folks ,  The differential cost way more money than a shaft.  JKs have weak axle housings , spend yer cash on fixin that. Just my opinion and that dont count fer Chit !    FjR68

Trussing JK axles is definitely a good idea

Is this still in the works? Should be pulling my 8.25 this weekend. Would love to put shafts in it when I have it apart to regear.

Sh*t sorry so much on my plate this got mentally pushed aside. Standby

Not to go off topic, but anyone ever consider cryo treating their gears? Supposed to make a substantial difference in strength, most likely bringing the breaking point back to the shafts, even with chromoly's.

It's all fun and games till you snap a leaf pack in half

As much of a PITA that was, it was still a good time, and even better story later...

The Ingenuity, Engineering and Comradery that come from these situations is awesome.  Not that anyone should TRY to break on a trail, when it happens it happens and we band together and work it out.

It's all set up. Give Eric a call 774-826-9948 tell him Ken sent ya and he'll take care of you.

And to all the haters  :mad02: Hahahaha

Ken, thanks for doing this! I'm going to pull the trigger on D30 shafts tomorrow. I actually called Eric today and left a message.

My pleasure. Did you talk to Eric or Gill this weekend?

Unfortunately the deal did slow down the shipping a bit but I know once they get it you'll have it wicked fast.
