maybe i will call....but not about the lift....

Are you just going to put the lift in and use the t-case drop for a day?  Are you planning on leaving it at Donny's until the D-shaft comes in on Monday?

If you do the lift Sunday, you will have to drop the plate, then on Monday, pull the case do the SYE, and re-adjust the control arms for the correct angle with the double cardin and SYE.

I can help Monday after work, or just help with the SYE on Monday if you need it.  Sunday no go for me.

Call me if you need to, you know the number all to well Mandy          :rotflmao:

Might have sun free for a few hrs to help, Ill drop the little girl off at my dads.  Ill let ya know.  Ill bring the tools to help ya jack it.  Bull.

Sure CT Granite,

I have my entire Jeep in little pieces, and have to put it back together and as soon as Mandy pipes up. I am nothing but old news. Man the power of women. :mad02:

Well, Sunday morning we were supposed to leave my house around 8 am to go to Donny's and on our way pick up my nice new tires from XJMark..................Well that didn't go quite as planned. So around 8 pm last night Donny had my front axle out and began the long process of installing the lift.  I want to say THANK YOU to the guys who offered to help, I really appreciate it, and if you are still interested in helping give Donny a call, I am sure he could use the help!!

Going kinda slow.  Lots of siezed bushings.  And a few angular issues.  Front is just about done.  Tomorrow is Donny's TV night.  Wed will get a few solid hours in.  Thursday a couple more.  Should be able to wrap it all up Friday.  Damn, these things go a lot quicker with a bunch of friends and beer. :grinyes: :grinyes:  Kinda sucks driving an hour, working on trucks for 11 hours, then driving an hour home...just to work on trucks again!!! :zbanghead: :Tools: :Tools: :zbanghead:

But, she's worth it.

Donny, I've done that twice, I understand.  Just antiseize everything, I pulled my lift out in 4 hours to swap it into the new(er) truck.  I should be free friday to come down and help.

Mandy/Donny - I have Friday off (originally to start on my SYE T-Case install in the late afternoon).  If you are doing the lift in New London I may be able to stop by and help late morning/early afternoon.  I know a little about the RE lift (I recently helped host RubiRick's RE install mini wrenchfest).  If it's at Mandy's - I can't afford the gas for a round trip   PM me with the address

Hey Frank, Donny will be working on my jeep most of the day friday so if you want to go down and lend him a hand that would be really great, give him a call, his number is posted up somewhere

Lift is in!!!  Very little vibes.  Minor adjustments needed.  Will be done later this week.  Lots of the fittings wouldn't take too much grease.  Wanna get them moving around a bit and regrease later this week.  Only majorish problem was the siezed lower control arm bushings.  Frozen right to the bolts.  Had to invest in a much desired DeWalt angle grinder.  Been looking for an excuse to grab one of these for a while now.  Thanks to all those who offered help.  Not that I didn't want it, it was just kinda easier working on it at my own pace.  I didn't feel obligated to get more done than I wanted to at any given time.  Very hectic week/weekend even outside of the install.  Glad it's over.  Now I can get to work on mine.  Later.
