I'm getting new tires in a couple of months and am debating on what to get this time around. I currently have Goodyear MT/R, 33x12.50.

What do you think is the best tire for what we do in the NE? I've been looking at the following tires...

Super Swamper TSL Radials
Pro Comp X-Terrains
Goodyear MT/R's

Oh yeah, my TJ isn't a daily driver either.

Thanks!

TSL's are awesome i have them on my XJ and they are a great tire no complaints at all, super grippy and tough sidewall... :)

Pitbulls  Hey why not check out those new BFG MT's that we saw at Paragon 8)

I would love too, but I don't think my tires will hold out that long. He said sometime in 2006 they would be released.

Kinda partial to swampa's. Have had 33X10.5 for a year with no prob. No vibes on the highway at 70. Great in the snow and never had a problem in the rain.
Oh...and they WHEEL LIKE A MUTHA!

I seen these tires work, he isn't kidding!

Those tires grabbed soo much, we thought he was locked!!!

I highly recommend the Pro Comp M/Ts - siped for traction in the wet stuff, non directional (unlike the Xterrains) and a pretty good value

detour. I'd love to hear more about your tires. particulary how they do in rain/snow.

I took a look at those pics Mark, but they don't look very aggressive to me. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong tire? Where did you find them and how much were they?

those look cool as he## well you get the idea.. detour have you wheelled them yet?
