....Im looking into the Super Swamper LTB-Bias 31-11.50R15... fom quadratech ..(if you know where they are cheaper then $105.00 let me know) ..anyone have any opinion on these tires in particular?... also what is the proper backspacing for a cherokee? i have a 3.75 inch lift, and my 31's ( bfg 10.50 AT) rub my sway bar connects when i turn hard because i have them mounted on stock 15x8 cherokee bullet hole rims...as pictured in my profile. any advice would be awesome. thanks guys!

Last week I ordered five 36" swamper SX tires from Domenic at Domenics Auto And Jeep in New Hampshire. They should be in sometime this week.

Dom's a great guy, and has done so much for the sport.
Gotta support the businesses that support us.

Great tire. combination rock and mud tire. Soft rubber compound for great traction. Wear out quickly with highway driving. Two seasons max.

For the rubbing, maybe switch to wheels with a different backspacing.  Borrow a spare of a few rigs to see what works.  On YJ/TJ's 3.75" works great - I'm not sure on an XJ

thanks guys for the good information.....  and the idea about trying new tires sounds great, my other buddie has some black steely's ill have to try them on, but i was concerned about the bias ply and their highway qualities, so now i know. , thanks

Jmaz, I have some 31's on Rubi Rims - if you want to try some on to get an idea of the fit - PM me -I'm 20 minutes away

If your 10.5s rub now, then the 11.5s will rub worse.  Like someone mentioned, you need to move the tire away from the vehicle.  Either through changing the backspacing or by using a set of wheel spacers.

I have used the Swamper 31x9.5s before on an xj and they were great.  Tucked in nice, with no fender modification, on stock rims.

If you are looking for different and or bigger, you could try Swampers in a 32x9.5, a little taller but will still tuck in during flex.

thanks eric, i am in the process of trimming my fenders quit a bit in order to accomodate a little bigger tire, I have never had problems rubbing my fenders, but when i turn hard on the trail or the road for that matter my tires rub my swaybar disconnects and they actually rubbed one of the pins right out recently so i was like...hmm... and got to thinking my rim offsett was not correct..... so the backspacing is the first issue that i will address. starting with jeepinmaxx's rims,
