Top and door problem

I want to put a top and doors on my jeep. The problem is that when the holes for the windshield were drilled into the new tub they are slightly to low. This causes the pivot point on the hinges to be lower than normal, therefore making the angle of the windshield steeper than stock. I have about a two inch gap at the top of the door to the frame. Haven't tried it yet but I figure I will have a problem with any kind of top as well. Any suggestions? 84 cj-7 with a fiberglass body.

fill the holes with resin and try again
This is what I would suggest too. Financially it makes sense also. You already have the parts, you just need to make them fit. :2cents:

I was thinking that, but will it be strong enough to hold the threads? There is a steel insert that is in there that has already been drilled thru. The holes were drilled before I bought the tub.
