so I just helped a friend of mine put new plugs in her '98 toyota tercel 4cyl & I was geting pissed cuz I could only find 2 of them.  Lo and behold there were only 2 wires in the new wire set from Nappa as well.

It cant only have 2 plugs can it?

That doesnt make any sense to me at all.

2- cylinder?  :grinyes:

Maybe they only recommend changing two at a time

I checked on-line and many parts sites list OE 2 wires required

Maybe one wire feeds two plugs?

The other 2 are underneath the direct fire coil packs (2) A single 10mm bolt or 2 holds them onto the valve cover, this car uses a waste spark type system hence 2 coil packs and 2 plug wires.

Oddly enough the New Hemi is designed the same way. But with 16 spark plugs  Have fun paying for that tune up.

I think I saw those.  Later, after she left, I wondered if the other plugs were under them.  I'm poping over to her place after work to look.

Thanks.
