Trackbar question(s)

I have questions about both track bars.

1. The rear track bar is squeaking. A lot. Is this normal after putting a relocator brack on.

2. I'm having problems with the front track bar, with not holding or seeming to hold any grease. I fill it with grease, and it just comes right out the side of the dust cover. It doesn't even seem like it's hold any grease.

Any suggestions?

is the rear bracket still tight, is it the bracket or the bushing... the factory one is a rubber one, use some silicone spray.

as for the front, still factory? if factory, the ball joint is only designed to pivot at a select number of degrees. If yours is sitting, and angled down already, you are probably pushing the limits of the factory ball. Thus this would scrunch the boot up on one side and not allow a lot of grease to stay in the boot. Even so, the design on the zerk fitting in the ball joint is so that as you grease it, you are actually greasing the lower side of the ball and thus it is still greased. So you should be all set.

Side note: keeping a factory style track bar up front will work, but being it is at an extreme angle, it will prematurely wear. Also, it will limit flex being the factory joint only pivots so much, and when you lift, you already push the pivot limit....

When you are ready, or win the lottery (that would be my reason  ) , you can upgrade to a JKS, or Currie (same one) This will correct this, allow for full flex and prevent premature wear...

till then,,, just drive and grease ever 3k miles...

well then you should be fine... The BDS one will be longer, and have additional bends to prevent the binding. As for it holding grease,,, it should be fine, and just keep it greased... it will eventually loosen up a bit and act more like the other ball joints.
