does anyone know if a 94 auto (ax15 i think) will work electronically in a 91 cherokee without modifications

AX15 is a manual tranny

I think the AW4 in the 91' has the power-comfort button on the dash. I believe the newer AW4's did not. You may have to splice connectors.
