Most new cars are glued together with just a hand full of spot welds. The new Sheetmetal is so think, warpage is a big issue.
Im very curious to see how this works long term, back when I had the chevy, it was getting close to needing rockers. My plan was to spot weld the pinch seams and glue the rest. Using a panel step tool so the panel fit behind the existing one, and with any luck very little cheese would be needed to fill the gap.
