You may have asked yourself, 'What does United 4WD Association do for us?'  Here is part of that answer!

John Stewart, United's Director of Environmental Affairs is traveling from San Diego to share with us his knowledge and expertise in lobbying, legislative initiatives, and environmental processes.

The course will cover:
1. John's series on Public Speaking, Lobbying Basics, and Effective Advocacy.

2. The NEPA process as it applies to federal agencies as well as each of the New England state's equivalent with highlights of specific issues in our states.

3. Brief on United's Volunteer Trail Patrol Program.

4. Basic writing style that will cover creating press releases and general writing hints for formal letters and web site articles.

5. Q&A session

Please join the Northeast Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs for these important topics and learn how you can effectively help in keeping northeast wheeling from extinction.

A bunch of NEJeepers attended this course last year, and it was very informative.
The NEA4WDC is flying John Sterwart in from California to teach again.

I will be attending this seminar, and encourage others to do the same.

For 25 bucks you get all materials, continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and the skills that can help save our existing trails, and open new lands for the future.

This course is extremely worthwhile and everyone needs to know this stuff.  Please consider this course, we can help you with car pooling to NH.  You won't be disappointed!!

I might like to check this out.  What kind of carpooling options we talkin......Im not driving my tj up there...lol.  Bull.

I am heading up with a couple of folks from MA.  Meeting up in the Milford vicinity I believe, logistics are not ironed out yet but if you are coming from or through this area let me know!

Bull, I'll have a few open seats, but I'll also be making a stop in Salem NH to pick up the Access For All vehicle.

Just toss Bull in the back..  he can pretend he's driving the access for all vehicle and wave to people :)

Anyone else?
Sign up now. I'll have open seats available for the ride.

Im still trying to get to go, but a little off the meeting subject...check out this thread in jeepforums.com.  The last couple of pages start to get stupid, but illegal wheeling is discussed and places talked about.  Just a heads up and things to bring up at the meet.  People still dont get land use, so I guess thats why we are here.  I read this stuff and just get super mad that people dont care about what they do or what kind of impact they cause.  I am glad to be in a club that understands and tries to help these people and the land use issues.  Oh and a big good job man to 2toes, in the middle of the battle, trying to help us all.  Bull.
