What kind of axles?

My buddy is putting a lift on his 97 XJ and needs to know what kind of axles are on his stock jeep. figured this would be a easy question for the XJ people out there.

Nick, you have a D-35 on your YJ,  Look at his axel cover, if it is the same he has a D-35 as well.  If it is different, it is probably a Chrysler 8.25.
