Wider fender flares

Earlier I was looking at the Warn fender flares and they come in a 6" and 7 " width but I'm not sure which would be better? I'm thinking the 7" flares are really going to stick out to far...but the 6" may just cover the edge of the tire.

Any thoughts?

I need to get these before Robin kicks my ass.

I think Jared had the 7, and they were way to big.... I think I have the 5 or 6 and they cover my 35" pretty good...

On Jared's rig, it looked like it had these huge ears.... but they made a shelf for great drink holders...

How about RUBI flares? a inch wider than stock. If you get the correct backspacing on rims you will not have to worry about flares.

I don't remember what the backspacing is on the black 15x8 AR767's. Not sureif they are 15x8" with 3.25 or 3.75. With the 12.5 wide tire if I tuck in any more I would not be able to turn al all. As it is I'm rubbing at full trun on the control arm and the pins for the sway bar discos. I wish the Swamper MT's came in a 10" width but they don't.

Jarod what did you end up paying for the Rubicon Flares?

I'll put in a plug for the WARN flares - very durable. I have the 6" version ( should have got the 7") even when cold, they are still flexible, I've crushed them on trees at 15 deg F and they still flex.

I have a set of 6" wide TJ flares got wrongly shipped to me, supposed to send them back but I am sure I can make a deal. They are brand new and cost me $175 shipped here. I need to know of interest ASAP so I can contact the seller before he has them picked up for the return. This is a 4 piece set that uses the stock extensions.

CJYJDan,

I brought out the tape measure and poked around with it...I think the 4 1/2" flares will do the job.

So go ahead and send those back...unless someone else may want to get them.

Thank you for the offer.

T.
