winch on yj

i am getting a winch for my 92 yj. i am getting a warn xd9000i from a friend. i was wondering what i would have to do to mount this on my stock bumper and how to hook this up. the winch is currently mounted on a 1994 XJ the winch is comming with the mounts and eevrything used to mount it on the XJ.

just need a winch plate.  There are a couple cheap brands out there, and some will post them up..  It bolts to the 2 bolts on top where your current bumper attached to the frame.

As for the hook up, nothing, connect to battery with the tabs already there

Nick I just ordered this from Collins Jeep in TX for 85 Bucks!  Looks like a nice beefy winchplate.  Not sure if they sell them for YJ but give them a call.  I found this thing on Ebay. :mrgreen:

Thanks Damom for the info and Bruce ill have to check that out and let you now how the winch ends up working out
