What do you guys have in mind for Jeep mods over the winter?

I plan on adding a couple more inches to my lift and hopefully adding a front bumper 8) I would also like to get some KC's for my front end.

Dana 44 rear, (2nd time around  ), 4.88's, detroits F&R.

Cut out part of the unibody from under it, and build a tube frame and possibly mid-arm front suspension. Partial inner cage and partial exo-cage.

Removable front doors with a set of custom 1/2 doors.

A little more lift, and larger tires.

12v OBA compessor and aux battery w/isolator.

A CD player.

All money and time permitting of course. #-o

Like banditt - finish the summer mods:

Finish putting the axles together, rear disc conversion for the 14 bolt, hook up the engine, get the gage back lighting to work, put in all new body, tranny, motor and xfer case mounts...then we get to the spring....

This isn't Alaska Mark, we only have a few months of winter :P

Hhahahahhaaahahaa

Clean the mud off from Coy... little behind on that.. :smt102

Figure out Vibe problem.

Paint newly welded areas, (many thanks to Mark)

Replace one 1 wheel lug

Look for a new Inner Inner Axle shaft

Change Radiator

And devise a successful plan to rob a bank to pay for all the new toys I am dying for...

CJ:

1) As I am finally satisfied with the "undercoating", it is time for a new motor.
2) While i'm at it, the T-18 will go in
3) Clock the D300.
4) Move rear axel back 6 more inches.
5) New belly skid to flatten things out under there.
6) New spare tire mount.
7) Replace cooler with some sort of rack to hold more spare parts.
8.) Any maybe (big maybe) if santa is nice this year, that full hydro steering i've had my eye on. If not then an AGR box.

XJ:

1) Rebuild and install the Auto Tranny i robbed out of the parts truck.
2) Basically get it up and running
3) Sit and stare at it.
4) Wait for Mark to work out his mid-arm so i can copy it.
5) Bitch that i can't get anything done on it cause i'm spending all my time on the damn race sled.

hopefully a 6.5 rusty's lift (wrench fest soon?) and finish putting on my skid plates. gonna shoot for removable doors without losing power locks/windows. possibly get some flares on so i'm not shooting slush and snow all over the place.

-red-

I gotta;;;;;;;; hook up my KC lites, put my steering skid on, oil pan skid on, hook up my cb and bracket, rip ouot rest of tj's carpets, get my exhaust man fixed(borla) hopefully, find out whats clunking in front end when I start in first and every now and then while driving....Bull.

few projects here.

finish the neverending 4.0 swap.

put in my axles
-Waggy 44 front, 4.30 gears, trashloc
-Isuzu 44 rear, 4.30 gears trashloc, disc brakes.

put on the bumper, and rear bumper/tirecarrier i built.

build belly up skid, engine skid and rocker guards. Also thinking about making some beefy diff covers.

mount the winch up that I have sitting here doing nother ](*,)

put on the TJ fender flares, and 33 " trxus

Let's see...

Rock rails
Design new rear bumper and tire carrier
Pull front bumper, sand blast and repaint
Buy and install Warn M8000
Buy and install a new Alpine MP3/WMA CD player
Put together a new tool kit/recovery box

regear and install chrylser 8.25 axle to replace dana 35
Make various sheet metal mods.
Raise gas tank, lost some capacity already.
replace rockers with angle iron
Maybe convert to stick shift.
swap better motor in.

On the YJ: Purchase a used NV 231 and AX15 combo out of a '92 or newer 4.0l JP, add a SYE and maybe 4:1 gears, Tom Woods driveshaft. York compressor, maybe get a softtop, fix my loose steering column... On the Holly's Liberty: Tighten up the Rusty's lift kit, add ARB locker, look for used Goodyear MTR 245/75/R16 off a Rubicon.

I'm finishing my 8.25 rear disc conversion, and a lot of cleanup /repair work
possibly a new front bumper and a winch, budget permitting.

I have a new 355 being built right now so a motor swap. Fire the engine with my carb and then my fuel injection swap. Also some odds and ends i would really like to have a e brake so i just have to buy the driveline e brake kit and install it. Thats about it :D Jeff
