Wrench fest needed.

HI folks,

Would it be possible to put together a wrench fest for this Sunday? If not this week maybe the weekend after.
I don't have a garage so if the weather is nice we can work in the parking lot of my condo.
A garage would be nice...then the weather won't rush things.

Id like to swap in some new springs, shocks and tweek the drive-line to keep the vibes down.
Also if we can get the old stuff off in one peice we can swap it into another rig.

Let me know what you think,

T.

Where abouts? I have some new shocks to install.

But Labor day weekend is out. Family obligations.

Sounds like fun..I have a few things and am willing to lend a hand..
But weekends are filling up quick...When are you looking to do this
and where are you located???

Hi guys,

How about Sat. Sep. 2nd?

We can do it in the parking lot of my Condo in Ellington but I'm limited with the tools I have here. No welder or torches...and only one set of jack stands. I do have a Elec. impact wrench and a reallly long extension cord.

Tina
I don't have any weekends off till the end of next month but I have another set of stands if you'd like to use them or anything else I have that you need

Thanks Steve,

I think I'll take you up on your offer. I could really use the extra stands. Let me know when it would be a good time to pick them up.

Tina/All,

I can host and maybe we can get some work done on my build as well. I live in Ledyard, have compressor, 220V MIG welder, 4 jackstands not being used, etc. Saturday 9/2 works for me. If you are interested, PM me for directions, cell #, etc.

Plus this would give me a chance to meet some of those that have been giving me help via the forum on the build.

Mike

Thanks YJMike...that's great.:beerchug:

That will save the day if the weather turns bad.
I'll drop you a pm later this evening.

Fantastic!

I'm going to have to pass. Ledyards a bit far for this New Haven Guy. And Laborday Weekend is already over booked.

mdot,

How far is Ledyard from you?

It has to be closer than Elllington?

I may be able to do something at my house on the 2nd or 3rd? I need to weld up a traction link setup and some other odds and ends. Plenty on flat asphalt to work on,the garage is tight but we can get a rig in to work on if need be.

This is still planned for this Saturday if anyone is interested in joining us at just drop yj mike a pm for directions.

Later,

T.

That's great Ken,

If you get a chance today spray the shock bolts down with tons of Liquid Gunk or some other rust remover. In the rear try to spray the top nuts also...they are tucked up above the frame so it may be hard to see them.

See you Saturday,

T.
