Wrenching?

Any wrenching going on in the near future??

I have a few things to do, anyone else?

Some things I have to do:
- Tierod replacement
- Front and rear brakes
- 1" Engine lift
- 1 1/4" Body lift
- If I have it by then Oil Pan OR Gas tank Skid

.

You really need to get an Oil Pan First!  It may be causing your oil pressure problem.(No room for the pickup) :grinyes:

Nah I don't think that's it, cuz if it was wouldn't the preassure be low ALL the time?  at startup in the AM the preassure is a bit past 40, doesn't drop till I get half way to Middletown.

'Sides, I really don't want to have to take off the friggin exhaust!

.

Edit* - oh yeah, plus, I already have all this other stuff...

I could use help with...

New Steering Box install.

Rear Axle Shaft change.

and Steering column rebuild, (if I cant get it out to have Ron help me before this)

Damon,
For the replacement axle shaft: Do you need to press on the retaining plate, bearing etc?  or is that already done?

.

I have not gotten them yet, but the pic shows them all just pieces.  So I will probably have to put the lug studs in, slide on the retaining plate, seal and then press the bearing on.

All having to be done prior unless someone has a large press.

Anyone know where I can get more retainer plates.

I'll add to the list -

Just got the JKS trackbar and need to install it

rear diff cover install

Fix the leak in Holly's ARB

Nomad - I'm pretty good at the steering column stuff after working on Marty's and Mine ( I have all the special tools + a spare column!)
we can get your D44 axles then also

Draz - your stuff should be pretty straight foward.  Maybe Bruce can hook us up with some garage time Saturday afternoon.  After we wrench - we can get your video digitized and Damon can get his axles

I can stop by and help, just not this weekend.  I also have a little wiring to do.  I made a box up that manually controls the AW4 so it's got a rotary knob to control gear selection.

I got stuff too......My header  install, 1" BL and MML, got some simple wiring too, cb, kc lights, and my siriius.  Bull.

The more help the better! :grinyes:

I'm not sure what time Frank has in mind but I'll make sure to clear both bays!

Draz, Damon, Bull - if this Saturday PM works for you let me know.  Rob02tj - thanks for the offer to help/learn- PM me if you wan't directions

If next weekend works better - let us know

You guys are killing me, I have a lot of simmilar projects to get done but I wont be home for another 6 weeks.

Let me know how the engine lift and skid plates go, I am kinda worried that mine will give me trouble when I get home to do them
