XJ Exhaust Header

I was under the XJ yesterday getting everything soaked for the suspension swap when I noticed the collector pipe was kinda pinched on two sides.  Kinda weired I thought. Shouldn't it be round throughout? :why:

This Jeep has NEVER seen offroad, and there is nothing even close to this aria that could damage the pipe.

i looked at mine tonight and it has a pinch in it but doesnt look as bad as that.  is the pic making it look worse than it is.
