XJ Sway Bar

O.K.  Another XJ question.  I'm lifting my XJ next week and I'm thinking I will remove my rear swaybar.  Is this a good idea?  Since its leaf springs in the rear I don't think I need it.

Yank it!!!  I took mine out and noticed no difference on the road.  Flexes a little better on the trail.

SWEEETTTTTT :grinyes:

Thanks guys.  It definately looked like a swaybar.

I can't wait till it don't look like a stationwaggy no mo!

i still have the front feels a lil funny with out it  but the back i tossed out.  the only time  i miss the front is on the hiway

Get rid of the both of them. If you don't like the way it rides without it, you can always reinstall it with quick disconnects.
Don't buy the discos until you know that you will need them.

4 years ago when I did mine, I left the rear on (fabbed some spacers top make it work).  It was dangerous, way to much over steer.  It handled better with out the rear sway bar.  Flexed better too.

Been running my xj without a front sway bar and I really don't miss it much.
