AHHHHH!!!
Well, after careful consideration, I broke down (no pun intended) and bought a new engine for the YJ. I'll pick it up on Sat. My YJ is a '92 and I found another 4 popper out of a 1995 with only 37K miles on it for $750.
Not too shabby! The next closest motor has 82K on it and they wanted $650.
I think I made out well.
The rest of my drivetrain only has about 2K miles on it, so it'll be like a new Jeep minus the body. I guess I could claim that I have the special "dent package". Keeping the 350 in the Malibu gives me an excuse to put her back on the road too...hehehe.
