Does anybody know if you can use ZJ front coils in the front of a TJ? I was asked by a friend of mine from Http://endlessmountainsjeep.net/phpBB2/index.php . He said that ZJ coil springs are a little bit taller then TJ coil springs so he was wondering if he could swap them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that zj v8 springs are about 2" lift for an XJ. I think they are a little taller than TJ springs as well

yeah they net about three inches in the front. then you take the stock tj front springs and move them in the back to gain 3 inches back there.

I also heard of using crown vic springs for the rear but i do not know what years or anything more about that.

yes they are but they still fit

I know RE ZJ springs are all designed for the V8. Might be a little on the stiff side in a TJ. Front of my heep weighs about 2700 lbs. My 2 cents.
