I'm tri fuel and still almost $500/mo for Eversource!
Oil for heat, Propane for cooking & dryer, and Electric for everything else including hot water and a 1.5HP well pump.
We just had the hot water replaced, but due to space constraints couldn't go with a hybrid heat pump style.
So a 40 gallon standard electric hot water heater with two heating elements at draws up to 4500 watts! That's like 3 space heaters..
Unfortunately our propane lines are too small and we have nowhere to direct vent - so going with a propane HW heater is out too.
At least the water heater was cheap...
