Not A Club Sponsored Event!!

Hey just, just posting this up as it’s a cool event in my hometown that I plan to go to again this year. Hundreds of vehicles shut down the entire center of town and the population of town literally triples for the day. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, Jeeps, tractors, you name it they have it. Right near Limerock Racetrack so usually some cool race cars as well. Fun event in a cool part of the state. If anyone else wants to go, I’ll see ya there. But again, this is not a club sponsored event, I’m just sharing it in case anyone would like to go. Spectating is free and there is food for purchase on the town green.

I'm interested, sounds like a good event to bring the family to.  I will need to see where we will be before I commit however, but it's on the radar.

The folks up in your old stomping grounds have some pretty cool collections of 'stuff'; not only vehicles but of tools as well:  This is my Uncle's old tennant's restored 1800's shingle maker.  Thing was awesome as it is all mechanically timed.

That’s cool! My whole childhood we cut all our wood on a big round saw like that with a flat belt drive off either the Willy’s or the farmall.

Just a reminder that this is this Sunday. Lots of unique vehicles. Takes over the whole town for the day. Unfortunately I actually won’t be able to go this year but I’d still recommend it to anyone else. Lots of really cool cars to see. Due to the proximity to Limerock Park, there’s usually a good showing of antique race cars there as well.

we had the same setup in Salem, run off an allis chalmers tractor!

For those heading over today, have fun! Make sure you stop at Jacob’s Garage to check out his drag car, his supercharged big block model a, and his sons 6.7 powered power wagon pulling truck. Those guys have some pretty sweet personal vehicles.

I'm definitely going to be going next year.  Unfortunately, with all of the rain, people bailed early.  Did stop at Jacob's garage and saw his SWEET 6.7 powered Power Wagon tractor puller

It's too bad the rains had to mess them up.  I still want to make the antique tractor and engine show up there in the Fall.

I’ve been to the machinery show in Kent many time. It’s a great time. So much cool old stuff.
