I did the Durango upgrade.
I went to the local bone yard. I think it was Boyd's in Norwich. Bought a used one and flushed it out real good. The factory ones were very dependable.
For the donor vehicle, use '98 Dodge Durango (It has to have the V8 engine) without plow package.
Outside it's the same as an XJ one in every way, except the body is fatter, so the stock aluminum XJ bracket won't work without lots of washers to lengthen the stand off's.
I didn't want to be that hokey, so I made a couple nice brackets. Two, in case I messed one up. I'm using one and the other is a spare for anyone that goes the same route.
JFYI it's made of heat treated 718 inconel so it'll outlast the jeep. That material survives being in the ass fumes of the worlds most bad ass afterburners.
Free to you if you end up needing it.
Then, years later, (It will be hard to beat the longevity of those original ones) I re-ordered a reman when it started leaking like yours.

I don't expect the same lifespan out of it, but so far, so good.
The steering turns effortlessly with 35's with no pump wine even sitting still. The internals of the Durango box are just a bit bigger.
I still use the stock XJ pump. They are cheap.
