A lot of dealers seem to still be pretty high priced on decent shape old cars. I saw one the other day posted a shined up 07 duramax with 102k miles for $40k. Cloths seats, stock radio, nothing special about it. Everyone is still trying to cash in the people with deep pockets looking for nice condition older vehicles.

This Jeep is definitely high priced though for a stock driveline. Crazy to spend all that time on it and not swap something else in. Either someone with more money than sense will come along and snag it or it will sit until the price drops to a reasonable amount.

NBSs are pinnacle truck especially with the short timed LBZ. They are pulling crazy money.

That is certainly the argument they are going for with these high prices. I'm sure none can afford it anyways but plenty are arguing even for those trucks the high price period has past

I had a LaBaron with a 2.2L turbo.
I also had a Dodge Omni, same engine without a turbo.
The omni went 250k no problem.
The LaBaron could barely make 70k before it needed a head gasket and resurfacing.
I don't think the 2.2 liked having the extra ponies wrung out of it.
I still have the LaBaron hood vents on the XJ!
