As you can see the 14 bolt has quite a bit of gravity !

Right! X2 no more playing balance the axle on jack stands
 
I have a one ton NP241D (Dodge) passenger drop tcase, that I picked up about 10 years ago. I think it has a 23 spine input. It's BIG. I'll sell it for $100.
 
After a weekend away, and some other projects it was time to get back on the axles. The 14 bolt was up first with a set of 5.38 gears. A little work with a carbide burr was needed to make the gears fit in the housing. Some final pattern photos and a pinion gaurd. The backlash is .007

Up next is a truss and some brake line tabs. Should be good to go in a couple days, then onto the Dana 60
