The Comanche purists are all angry tonight. 2 big holes cut in the bed. Shock hoops are full welded. Still needs tabs and a crossover bar. We played around with some spare tire ideas. Going for the pre runner look. This is an old tire carrier someone gave us.

How about sliding the tire all the way forward so it leaves the end of the bed to put stuff in that might be needed like recovery gear or tools

The plan as of now is to put the fuel cell, toolbox, CO2 bottle, and a cooler up near the cab. Tire will be easily removed and only carried when wheeling. So the back of the bed will be available for extra stuff most of the time.

Cross bar is in for the shocks. Bed got retrimmed. We can now remove the bed without removing the shocks, just the crossbar. Thanks to Luciano for supplying the tube couplers we used in the crossover bar.

Little update on Calvin’s Manche. Anti wrap bar has been figured out and made. Everything in the back is full welded. Bed is off. Final prep and paint. Tons of little stuff is coming in and getting prepped and painted. Lots of assembly to come.
