Polishing Aluminum Rims

So a few things on the Cerakote stuff:

It seems like it is incredibly difficult to get it to come out perfect. There's lots of reviews online of detailers having poor experiences. I too noticed some areas of streaking from the uneven application. It was tough to go on evenly since its just a wipe.

I also used it in the morning the other day on the door handles thinking having all day to dry it would be good but the rain overnight gave the door handles water spots.

There was also an area on the front bumper that seems to have spots of faded black but that seems to be due to the bumper having imperfections.

All this is fine with me since it looks great from a few feet away, but if anyone uses this, just remember, it is permanent and does not come off easily.

5 year update. I dont drive it much but really hasn't faded on the fenders. The front bumper is a little faded.

I need to polish my Harley wheels. If somebody wants to come over, I’d be happy to pay them to do it for me lol.

That’s exactly why I haven’t done it yet… Plus, you can only see the front wheel when my saddlebags are on

I was using renegade products buffing wheels and polishes. It works good but a lot of work. Didn’t get mirror finish only because I got tired.
