We can do trivia this week! I can't find anything for this week on their website or Instagram but I will call tomorrow. They did it at 7pm last week and for as long as I have known they do it every Wednesday but I'd like to double check.

Joe you have Trivia Wednesday the 24th, it's the 25th.

Also they don't open until tomorrow at 3 to call but I found a calendar online that says Trivia 4-9 every Wednesday. Their Instagram said last week it was at 7 so I am going to assume it is at 7 again this week. We couldn't get there until around 6 anyway.

Out this week due to Darts League playoffs, but we most likely won’t make it to the following week, so I’d be down for a future Wednesday Trivia at Alvarium!

I don't know if we ever decided on a time but I might have to show up late. The Jewish washers are coming to the funeral home for 630 and I dont know if I have to stay or not. I told Tom probably 6? I can call later today if I get a second and dont forget. They open at 3.

What’s a Jewish washer?

When a Jewish person dies, members of the synagogue come to the funeral home to perform a ritual called Tahara, which is part of the Jewish burial tradition. They wash and purify the body, dress them in traditional burial garments, and place them into a Jewish casket while prayers are recited. The ritual is performed by a group called the Chevra Kadisha. Men care for men and women care for women. The funeral home does not participate in the ritual itself, but we have to be in the building while they perform the ceremony.
