Hello all,

been meaning to make this post for a while but trying to take advantage of the current housing market has jump started things.  I have parts I have been meaning to post or take the the recycler but the club gets first whack at things.  Here is what needs to go, all prices are OBO unless otherwise noted:

Used Jeep Parts:
- HP dana 30, still has original gears in it
- Dana 35 rear axle original gears as well
-Chrysler 8.25 rear axle, assumed original gears
- 1991 4.0 out of an XJ.  ran last time I recall but that was almost 8 years ago
- (2) AX-15 transmissions, (1) old school style bell housing and throw-out bearing, (1) newer style
-(2) NP243 transfer cases, both stock
-Front fenders from -pre 97 xj - good shape
-Rough country 3" lift springs with transfer case drop pucks for xj
-Short arm suspension kit for stock xj
-(4) Duratrac 31x10.5R15 tires on wheels, ~80% tread remaining. (I'll throw in an unmounted spare ~30% tread but enough to get off the trail)
-Heavy duty steering arm and tie rod (I am assuming its a Clayton)
-Random drive shafts

Brand new Jeep parts:
-brand new brake calipers for a TJ with pads (never installed, I just want what I paid for them)
-1 rear rotor for TJ (never installed)
-rear brake hoses for a JK (never installed)

Non Jeep Parts and misc:
-(6) 18" VW Aristo wheels, 5x100 bolt pattern curb rash on 2 of them
-Small truck bed tool box
-(4) Borbet Type E wheels, 5x100 bolt pattern, 8.5x17" - $1,000 (they are discontinued that's why the high price)

PM me with interest and we can go from there.  If its still up, its still available.  Moving out mid July.

Assuming the transfer cases are 242s from an XJ I’m a little tempted to take one just to take it spare and see how it’s different from the 231.  I’ve been curious after rebuilding a 231.
Also I think I’m going to be replacing the electric sending unit on mine soon assuming that’s the cause of my intermittent speedometer.

Short arm suspension for an XJ you say? Any more info on it?

not really, they were on a jeep that I junked so I don't have manufacturer and there is nothing stamped on it.  I can take pictures for you and PM you

let me know what you would like me to set aside and I will double check that they are 242's

Are the 3" lift springs the leafs or coils?  I would be interested in the leaf springs.

The 3" lifts are coils in the front and leaf in the back, they are Rusty's offroad springs.  could use a quick wire wheel and paint.

Bump, now with some pictures.  Also have 2 steering boxes as well

bump!  we are closing on the new house and we just went under contract today to sell this house... long story short, we gotta be out by July 30th.  a few things I will hold onto because club members have shown interest in them the rest goes to the junk yard.  Give me an offer!

Bump, some things did not make the move but I still have the transmissions, t case, springs and short arm kit as well as a HP30

I dropped the ball on this but I’d still like to grab an NP 242 if you still have one.  I could get down there sometime this coming week, weather issues aside.

Let me know if you want to convert it to the bigger drum and chain. Be happy to do it.

Thanks.  It’s possible that the 242 in the XJ needs rebuilding.  I haven’t confirmed for sure but I’m leaning in that possible direction.  Once the weather clears out I’ll confirm.  A few months ago I was just interested in seeing how it was different from the 231 I rebuild a couple of years ago. Now my interest is a little more practical.

I will need to do some digging right now but I know I have them.  Drop me a line later this week and we can set something up
