Bills fun day from the casino...

While we're on the topic here...

I'm sure many of you throughout the area have seen vehicles with the Click It For Cassie bumper stickers... The family gives them away for free to anybody who will display them as a reminder to others to buckle up... seatbelts really do save lives.

Unfortunately for my childhood friend Cassie Geary, she wasn't wearing hers the night she lost control of her car on a short drive home and even though she wasn't going very fast, she hit her head just right and it was enough to cut a beautiful life short.

So please, if you don't already, wear your seatbelt and if you want to go the extra mile...
Go to http://www.clickitforcassie.com/ and order your free bumper stickers to display anywhere.

Maybe we can get enough of them together on our Jeep's and get some nice pictures of us flexing them out on the trail and send them in to the website. They like to show others where these stickers have been and it's a subtle reminder to always wear seatbelts and be safe when offroading.

Sorry to hijack your thread Bill, but my friend Cassidy wasn't as lucky as you and your family. God bless.

went and got my stuff out of the car today...heres the damage, you can see that my moms side of the car(psgr) took the brunt of the damage....

A friend of mine from high school died during his freshman year of college as the only passenger in a car not wearing his seatbelt when they had an accident.  I'm so glad this isn't the case for your mom, Bill!  Marty had his back surgery at Hartford Hospital and they took excellent care of him.  Your best bet is to take very good care of the nurses   I used to bring cakes, cookies, boxes of chocolates, etc. especially the night nurses.  Best of luck to you all during her recovery.  Thanks for the very important reminder on seatbelts!

Thanks guys... My mom is in surgery now to get rods to hold her femur together but she was in good spirits when i talked to her earlier....

That's good to hear. Think positive and positive will happen. Good vibes make everyone around you better.
