JK rocker tick issue

Anyone with a JK hearing the rocker tick? and what mileage?
I have 80K but no tick...possibly thinking of doing a pre tick (rocker/possibly cams/lifters).

or just wait it out ..lol

In my humble opinion, wait.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it.  Not every 3.6L Pentastar is a POS.  My 2013 has about 60K miles on it with no ticking (except on a cold start up after sitting for a couple days), no oil cooler leaks, and no radiator leaks.  Could any/all of that still happen? Maybe (did I just jinx myself?).

As a side note, If the Jeep has been sitting for a few days, sometimes I'll crank the motor for about 5 seconds to let the oil get back up to the top, then start it.  (If you floor the gas pedal while turning the key, it will crank but not start.)

I’d say wait too. Mine dropped a valve before the cam wiped out so did a whole head. It would suck to do the cams just to do it again.

My Jeep blew head gasket and I have had heads off, also broke a cam the back 1/3 sheared off, then I had a timing idler bolt shear off and wipe out timing so I ha e replaced cams had heads decks, new valves, lapped the valves to heads new rockers new lifters and new phasers.

Had a set of cams come without the tone rings on back (not bueno) they are precision installed. Have had the magnetic fields get messed up on the cams I  bought and eventually bought a set of used cams.

My jeep has almost 170k of hard miles but didn’t have issues until about 150k

I have just over 100k and my will tick when I cold start it after sitting for long periods of time. Otherwise it’s fine. Smokes when vertical
